I had a meeting with Cinematographer/Photographer Jesse Contreras (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=83504272) with Illuminate Vista (http://www.facebook.com/illuminatevista) Friday morning about shooting a video for me. It will help me network and help show people some depth to who I am. I am excited to put this out. We talked about doing a series of videos so you see into the modeling pros and cons and some of the fun I endure with modeling. He will shoot my auditions so you will hear the good and negative feedback, he will go behind the scenes on photoshoots, and he will also show some of the things that go into a fashion show. I hope you all enjoy it and learn a little more about me and my life <3 Ill tell you more about it as the time comes :) love y’all.
come back and visit my site now, ya hear? :)
just spent 288$ on new glasses. I am officially heartbroken. You get money, you give it away. that’s the way of life. Welcome to adulthood i suppose. I love responsibility but i’d like it more if i made more :)
on a positive note: my eye doctor was friggin sexy.
A New Project
A new project
I find myself always trying to think of new ways to learn Biology and Health. I grew up not really loving to learn science. I dreaded it in fact. Not because of my teachers or because I was not taught improperly but because I did not see the point in learning all of that information. Now that I know I want to become a Physical Therapist and have to learn so much science, I have found a passion for it that I never knew I had. A problem that I find myself facing a lot of the time though is how to study all of that material and really retain it. I can remember all of the steps to, hypothetically, Photosynthesis, and then as fast as I knew it one minute, I can totally blank out the next. Is it the way I’m studying? Maybe if I find a different way to study then I will remember it and actually retain it and keep it in the ol’ “noggin”.
This leads me to the new project I want to endeavor on, writing papers. Every week I am going to write a paper approx. 2-3 pages in length, nothing too long, about something that pertains to what I am learning in my lectures for the next test. It can pertain to it in the sense that if I am learning about the bones, I will write about Osteoporosis and how it affects the bones or Arthritis to the Joints. Or if I am learning about Bacteria and Protists in Biology I will write a paper on the different kinds of Bacteria and elaborate on their shape, their function, and ultimately their characteristics. This way, I am going in depth on what I am learning and am approaching my studying in a different way. If I have to research all of the information, put an outline together, piece the puzzle together, maybe that light bulb in my head will go off and say, “oh I get it now.” And I will remember it and be able to teach other people what I have learned.
I am going to print them all out and keep them in my Physical Therapy notebook. (Maybe Graduate school will see my initiative and it will spark and interest in accepting me)
(I will also post some of my papers online because everyone needs to know about Health and the Study of Life) J
I would spend my last 4 dollars on starbucks even if i didn’t have any single food item in my house.
I hate that my family thinks the okay way to solve our problems is to just never talk about them again or act like they never happened.
cheers to a healthy family.
Don’t let life pass you by, live it out loud, write it in the sky.
such a beautiful picture!

Sarah Esteje, a photography student at the Gobelins, is the author of an amazing series of animal portraits drawn with a simple ballpoint pen. Why animals? “A nostalgia of grandma’s canvas, but also and especially because we humans are a bit all alike. Reproducing feathers, furs or scales is far more interesting!” A work of the materials, bordering on the hyper-realism by adding a softness and the original framing, the series is currently on exhibition at Point Ephémère in Paris. I’m not sure what people usually post on here but i love Blogging so i thought i would give this a try. First of all, some things about me. I am 21 years old and i live in Greenville, SC. I am originally from Chesnee, SC but just recently moved. I love Greenville but i also love coming home and seeing my family. I have a twin brother and growing up we have always been close. There’s no greater connection than a twin. My mom is the greatest woman that I know. So many things impress me about her. My Grandmother has Alzheimer’s and she’s been battling it for about 4 years. There are six stages and she is approximately in stage 4. It has really humbled me to help take care of her and be one of her primary caregivers these past 4 years. She’s an amazing woman. I am going to school to get my Bachelors in Biology with a minor in Health Administration. I want to go to Physical Therapy school right after and get my doctorates to be a Pediatric Physical Therapist. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I love South Carolina but i could definitely see myself moving right after college. I don’t know where and i also don’t want to know. Just wherever the wind takes me. haha. My goals are to be Director of the Physical Therapy department and then eventually be on the Board of Physical Therapy. It will happen.
I also model in my spare time. I have been doing it since i was 15 but have had a passion for it since i was about 9 years old. If modeling was to ever take me to New York, California, or oversees I would go in a heartbeat. I owe it to all the money i’ve spent, time, tears, laughs, criticism, etc to take it as far as it allows me to.
I’ll post more soon :D Keep following.
